How many of the viewers have faced such an issue? Kaun banda hain jo individual developer leke algo trade kar raha hain aur usko stategy or technicals pata nehi hain? is there any data point available to prove your claim that 1 or 2% of people are being duped in such a way? Someone who trades with more than 100 Lots go for a 3rd party developer to do algo trade without knowing technicals, then how come you make the develoer understand what you want. Even if so how come the developer will get the money transferred to his account? How come a No profit No loss trade money gets absorbed by the mere API developer? The money will still be transferred to the AC registered with the broker, even if he add a new account there you will still get some SMS and Email to confirm the changes? Who will be so dull that he will allow the same with 10-20Lakhs money in his account. Yes signing the POA with he broker can be dangerous sometimes that they can execute trades without your consent and can earn brokerage and commissions, but how can a simple API developer do that? me being a Software Engineer find it an absurd and illogical explanation and just making people feel skeptical about the whole thing. If you have a concept of API programming you should know that there are certain layers that API coding can't able to access, it's like the right of an admin to a system and a user of that same system. Yes, being a hacker you can break through but not with the API key the broker provides you to execute a trade from 3rd party sites. Brokers are not fools. What does the algo do? it still relies on your DP, it executes the order through your broker and not directly with the exchange. Either you completely misguiding people or you are unable to explain things clearly. But in simple interpretation, the 3rd party cannot consume the money in such a way.
